These, along with oatcakes, are a great pleasure in the afternoon. Oatcakes, not being sweet, are a bit more like a cracker (when baked thin as I do). Thousands of people were working in factories to satisfy Britain’s never-ending taste for biscuits. Oatcakes look a little different.
